Purchasing Manager

Our client, based in North London, is a leading provider of health care services within the UK. Now operating over 30 residential sites they are expanding significantly within their market. They are seeking to employ an experienced Purchasing Manager for the first time. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right skills to establish their mark on this successful company, developing all purchasing aspects. The position will see you working closely with their existing Commercial Manager, as well as Directors and Chief Executive.
A series of renovations and refurbishments of their care properties is to take place, within which you will have a key part to play with the purchase of all required products - from boilers to televisions. The Senior Management team are open to new ideas and, as such, you will have freedom to use your wide purchasing knowledge to develop and implement your strategies.
Preferrably with a minimum of 3 years purchasing experience, and either CIPS qualified or working towards qualification, you will ideally have worked within Healthcare or Property Management.
You will need to be driven, with a clear idea of where you see the function heading, and be able to demonstrate how this will be achieved to the benefit of our Client. It is an exciting opportunity for someone with the ability to bring not only basic purchasing operational functionality but also enhance the strategic direction of the company.
